Julie Beutler Email:Angelwoodgallery@aol.com Julie has been in love with clay since her first class in ceramics at Siena Heights University, where she graduated with a BFA, with a concentration in ceramics in 1993. That summer, she opened a gallery and studio in Grand Rapids, Ohio. Angelwood Gallery is now in its 18th year and features her work along with local artists in all mediums. Julie started teaching in her studio in 1994 and discovered a passion for teaching clay that changed her life. In 1997, she started teaching pottery to all ages at The 577 Foundation and soon after became the Pottery Director there. She balances her time between Angelwood Gallery and The 577 Foundation as well with her husband, Jason and pets, Max, Sasha, Snowflake and Fishy. |
