Joyce Donahue Email: happypotting@yahoo.com I left a career as a R.N. Medical–Legal
Consultant to become a full time studio ceramic artist. I have no
formal art degree, but have attended numerous workshops & seminars,
including summer sessions at Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts
in Tennessee, studying clay techniques, theory & design. The
making of something that is beautiful, functional & desirable,
while using the elements of the earth, has enhanced my sense of
worth as a maker. I am a member of the Toledo Potter’s Guild.
My pottery is exhibited & sold at the Toledo Museum shop, Kismet,
and The American Gallery. |
