My relationship with clay began in high school, but didn't become serious until I graduated from college. What began as stress relief quickly became a great a great source of fun and friendship. Almost immediately I began collecting tools and equipment, hoping that some day I would have my own studio. Sherwood Inn Pottery is the result.
While my work is primarily functional - mostly cook ware and serving pieces, I'm game to try to make about anything. I'm inspired by talking to people, my own cooking experience, and pretty much everything I see.
