My love for creating with my hands started as a child. Even then I had to be doing something. My first encounter with clay started from my Santa's want list of the Alden's Toy Catalog. I had found a battery powered pottery wheel. It was to small and the batteries were soon dead. But not my desire to create. After many years of crosstitch, folkart painting, quilting and knitting. I gave up on all of them. Then I stumbled upon The 577 Foundation Pottery program, Perrysburg Ohio, where I developed the being foundation to get into clay. I have started my own studio at home, with a real electric wheel and kiln. I am a active member of the Toledo Potters Guild.
