I started my journey in the fine arts choosing painting and drawing, but after years in school I discovered Ceramics and realized I was in love, too late to change my major. I continued my degree in Fine arts and Art Education.
For me learning, teaching and creating thru clay is pure bliss.
I love the process of working with clay, from the lump of clay to the finished piece in your hands!! I like thinking about who will end up with the piece, where would they put it, what would the serve out of it. I hope that the piece will bring happiness to their lives, that when they see it, touch it, used it, they will feel the joy I felt when making it. It is a part of me that goes with each pot!
My pottery is mainly functional, I like beautiful, simple and elegant shapes with gorgeous glazes, always looking for inspiration all around me!!
